Had a great time at the CCIRA conference, Feb 2-4. I gave a talk on using voice in writing on Friday and really enjoyed it. But the highlight for me was hearing Patricia Reilly Giff on Thursday and Pam Muñoz Ryan at lunch, and seeing lots of friends.
I’ve written another couple of chapters for the unsequel. Mark and Erin’s friendship is really nice. I like how they are as friends. I need to bring Rosie and Tyler into the story more. Jilly’s getting some good airtime.
I’m also working on an early reader and revising a picture book manuscript that I wrote awhile ago. It’s fun and challenging to work on shorter manuscripts.
