Here’s what I came up with:
Cassandra wasn’t your normal, average bear. No, she was not. For one thing, she was small (like a mouse). And hard (not stuffed). And bright orange (not brown, or black, or even a light blue or pink like other bears).
I think this is pretty good for a start. I saw her immediately as a teddy bear, not a real bear, and went with that. I can already see some things I would tweak, but that’s for another time.
