I just had the very best time ever in Michigan. I was the guest author for RAP–Reading Appreciation Week. I got to visit two middle schools and doing a special presentation at the local public library. Students had to meet reading goals to be able to come to my assemblies and the top 50 readers from each school got to hear me speak at the library and got their picture taken with me. They had a huge
cookie in the shape of a Tootsie Pop at the library. Everyone was warm and wonderful and I had a blast!
