May 4 & 5 I was in PA, first in Sewickley where I had a fab author visit at the rockin’ Quaker Valley Middle School. What a welcome, what a talented group of students, faculty, and administration. When you have a principal who is also a film actor, you’re going to have some fun. I had a wonderful time attending their band concert–absolutely amazing.
On May 5, I was in Greensburg to speak at the Children’s Literature Conference. It was their 10th anniversary so of course we had to dance. I played Kool & the Gang’s “Celebration” and we boogied for a few minutes. Great fun.
