For a variety of reasons, I’m finding it very hard to write this summer. Between working on the Fall Conference for the Rocky Mtn Chapter of SCBWI, home renovation, kid summer fun–well, let’s just say I’m not making the time like I shoulda/coulda/woulda. BUT–I am making progress and am probably just 3-4 weeks away from finishing the first draft of the unsequel. I hope to have it to my critique group no later than October–we’ll see if I make that goal.
It’s so much fun to be back with these characters, seeing sides to them I didn’t know they had. Readers will see a more well-rounded Jilly and Erin will push herself even more to grow into the mature young lady we know she can be.
Fingers crossed that I meet my goals.
